Huge Update!!

Okay so I've decided I'm definately gonna need some staff here! Keeping up with updates lately has been really difficult for me, So for that I can't apologise enough!! Anyways, I'm gonna make an application form soon so people can apply :)

First off, Alyson was cast in another new movie!! Read the details below (thanks to MTV and Tiffany)

"Earlier this year, Emma Stone decided to emulate Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Hester Prynne (you know, “The Scarlet Letter”) for an “Easy A.” She was quickly joined by Amanda Bynes, but with the film set to begin shooting in a few days, she’ll need additional people to help and shame her towards a bad reputation. Variety has the list of who those people will be: Cam Gigandet, Lisa Kudrow, Alyson Michalka, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Stanley Tucci, Penn Badgley, Malcolm McDowell and Daniel Bird.

The plot has changed a little since it was last in the trades. Initially, Stone was going to play a student who faked being promiscuous in order to gain attention. Now she’s a student who is ostracized thanks to a false rumor of her behaving badly with the guys, and she decides to use the rumor mill to her advantage. She pits puritanical students and teachers against their liberal, free-lovin’ counterparts. Hilarity and life lessons ensue.

Will Gluck (”Fired Up”) directs, and the script was penned by playwright (and former “Chappelle’s Show” casting assistant apparently) Bert V. Royal, who weaves Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter” into a parallel storyline mimicking Stone’s character. Don’t be surprised if you see see Stone sporting pilgrim gear in dual roles.

Unfortunately for you Twilighters, Variety is silent as to which part Gigandet will be playing. Since the film is set to begin shooting on June 9, you shouldn’t have to wait too long to find out. Still, let’s hope he’s playing a niceguy this time around. "

Bob cavallo (from Hollywood Records, the girls' label) uploaded a new video to his twitter featuring the girls:



"Hey guys! Meet our new executive chef (ha!) Iron Chef Charlie!! Charlie is our producer Rob's son and he's only 12 YEARS OLD...but he can seriously cook! We invaded their kitchen for a cooking lesson from Charlie to make his grandma's famous meatballs. The video's on the long side at like 5 mins but hopefully ya dig it.":



Lastly, the actress Farrah Fawcett died, AJ's costar in the Guardian, here's what she had to say:

"I will always cherish special memories of Farrah. I played her granddaughter on the CBS show called "The Guardian." She treated me so kindly and became a mentor to me. She inspired me as a young actor and it was an honor to work with her so closely. I will always cherish her words and the first piece of jewelry that she ever designed and gave to me as a young child, will forever be a sentimental keepsake. In memory of Farrah Fawcett whom I love dearly...xo AJ"

Oh my gosh it's been so so long since I updated last! I am really sorry for being so behind lately with the news and stuff. I will sort it out! I've been so busy revising and the weather's been lovely aswell. But anyway, enough with excuses, heres the news:

Hey guys - we have some sad news to report. Our beloved flying squirrel Little Jack passed away a couple months ago. :( We took this video when we had a short burial ceremony for him at the LA pet cemetery. We buried him along with our old dog Saint who most of you probably remember. To send him off...we changed up some of the words to "Amazing Grace" to fit it for our little guy. If you've ever lost a pet, leave a comment to bring back some good memories of him or her...

Huge Update!!

Wow. It's been forever since my last update!! I am really sorry for being so inactive lately, but I've been busy with leaving school and I'm in the midst of exams so I really have to focus my energy on them right now, so please forgive me! Anyways, here's a big update for you to catch up on everything I've missed.

"TWIST caught up with Aly Michalka at the Bandslam press day. She gaves us the dish on what the cast did together in Austin when not filming. "

Aly & AJ posted a blog a while ago talking about their new album and touring:

Hey guys...hope you're all doing well! We wanted to get on here real quick to address some of the tour rumors. Apparently there's some talk online that we'll be touring this summer even though Aly said we'd be on the road in the Tigerbeat interview. But...we don't have any plans to tour yet since we're focusing on finishing the record. So no, we won't be on the road this summer or anytime soon.

BTW...the album is sounding really amazing so far and is definitely a bit heavier than Insomniatic. Don't worry...not crazy heavy but it's got lots of guitars and definitely a more rockin feel. We think you'll really dig it and can't wait to share the final version with you. We're working on mixing it right now so hopefully that will get to happen soon! Lots of love xoxo

Good news UK fans!!!

Saturday I went to the cinema to see 17 Again and who'd have known I'd see the trailer for Bandslam!!! I was like shouting at the screen xD the person who I was with was a tiny bit freaked out haha, anyways, a date wasn't set but it did say august, so thats good!!!
